I have big plans for this year. I have found that I adore blogging, and have made several great associations that will help me become a better blogger. I also have made some agreements to guest blog at other sites to improve my skills and allow me to focus on topics that I am passionate about. I am super excited to blog daily, and grow my knowledge and abilities this year as a blogger.

Step one will be putting together a work station. I need a desk with great lighting. Nora lighting has some great desk lamp options that I love, and I will have to find or build a small desk with lots of cubbies and drawers to hold all my supplies. It should be a fun project.

I just have two problems. One I have to stay healthy, and so does my family, which most days is okay, but lately it seems like an impossible chore. I keep our house clean, we eat healthy, and exercise, but the flu and other viruses are vicious this year and we have had our share in the past month or so. My second challenge is organization. I have everything written out and I am booked solid, but I lack a central location to blog from. I had a desk, but I never used it, so we got rid of it. I am regretting that decision daily now. I tend to blog from my bed, and it would be wonderful to have something simple next to my bed that could hold my notes, print-outs, computer gear and other “office” type supplies so that I wasn’t all over the house when I should be focused on my blogging. I don’t mind blogging in my room, in fact, blogging from bed is one of my greatest pleasures, as I have a chronic illness that causes pain and fatigue. I can “work” on my computer and still rest and be in bed when I have to. I just need to get all the stuff by the side of my bed into better shape. So that is my goal for the week. Get organized, and blog my heart out. What is your goal?

I am a wife, mother and blogger. I love to share what I learn and am constantly learning. My family lives with an Aspergers child, chronic illness and constant financial issues. I blog about this and ways to make life fun and fulfilling in spite of it all. I also blog with Sublime Media Connections, Kate and Kaboodle and several other amazing blog teams. I love what I do, but I am human and often make mistakes, which is why my motto is "muddling through".

  1. I suffer from chronic intractable pain and several other diseases that cause pain, fatigue, depression, anxiety, you name it. I need a bigger bedside table and get my ipad set up so I can work from bed. Any ideas you come up with will be appreciated. I hope you have a low pain day.

    1. Ann, I have been looking fora good bedside table, and have concluded that you would need to get one like the hospitals have. I like the website Allegro Medical for medical supplies and sometimes they have sales and usually they have free shipping. I hope you have a low pain day today and thank you for your comments!
