My husband and I went on our honeymoon to San Francisco. We would love to go there again for our 10th anniversary this year. So when I learned about gogobot I was anxious to see what new things a romantic trip for two might have to offer. We may also decide to bring our son so he can have the opportunity to see the areas near where his Dad grew up and where we were first a married couple. San Francisco has amazing museums and gardens that he would adore. Either way, it is a dream trip, and one that we will eventually take.

I would definitely stay at the Palace Hotel. It is a gorgeous hotel with amazing gardens, beautiful rooms, and great reviews. According to reviewers, it has a heated pool on the 4th floor, which we would love to use, High Tea at noon every day, and is in within walking distance of China Town, Union Square and Pier 33 and the Wharf. We love to see the sites of every city we visit, so this would be an ideal location in a luxurious setting. The pricing of the hotel is a little above my normal budget, but since I am creating a dream vacation, this is where I would love to stay.

As for things to do, the list in San Francisco is endless. There is China Town, The Golden Gate Park, Alcatraz, Cable Cars, Lombard Street, Pier 39, Japanese Tea Gardens and so much more. Our personal favorite is the California Academy of Science. My husband teaches the Gifted and Talented students in our local school district, and is known as the “science guy”. He uses a lot of their simple experiments for his classes, and loves to go there and get great ideas. This is the one place that we would love to take our son, and it has been recently redone to make it even more kid friendly, and fun.

One great feature of gogobot, is that once I’ve started planning my vacation, I can use my social networks to get input from friends and family about other locations and options that I might want to consider. I have family who lives near there, and it would be fun to plan a place to meet that they love, or hear about a great new shop, restaurant or event that’s going on. I also have special dietary needs, and can use my social networks to help us find places to eat that are gluten free and fit our dietary needs, which makes planning so much easier.

Gogobot is a fun site, and will be on my favorites page for planning my next trip. If you are planning a trip to Las Vegas, let me know, and I’ll give you my input on all the great things to do here, especially if you are looking for a more family friendly trip. In the meantime, it is a great place to dream up a vacation you’ve been waiting to take, or look for new and exciting things in your own city. If you are traveling this season, use Gogobot to find great sites and fun for your travels.

Gogobot allows you to tap into the knowledge of your friends when planning a trip anywhere. You can find like-minded travelers and inspiration for your next vacation, creating easy-to-use wishlists you can return to again and again.

And when you are not in vacation mode or planning a trip, you can discover hidden gems in your own neighborhood for entertaining guests or a weekend staycation.

The best part? Every page on Gogobot is personalized. You can see reviews from your friends and people you are following at the top, which allows you to weed out the noise and fraudulent reviews that become a problem on other review sites. Check out Gogobot today!
