Bricks 4 Kidz is a national company that teaches children pre-k to high school through legos and duplos. They offer summer camps, school programs, birthday parties and more. My husband is working there this summer, and I think I was just hired as a social media consultant, and possible special needs teacher, which would be totally awesome. My son goes to most of the summer camps with his Dad and adores them. He will build all day and then come home and build some more. I love it. He is with friends, creating and exploring and learning and growing. I even got into it and built a Star Wars vehicle all day today. It was a lot of fun. They take all ages and stages, and they are super sweet with the kids. It is a fun day, broken up by snacks, games and other activities between building an assigned project, or free building. There are lots of kids and it is relatively inexpensive considering at the end of each week they get a t-shirt and minifigure. My family is going to own more legos than I know what to do with soon. They can be found at http://www.bricks4kidz/com and you can search and see if they have local classes. I love the staff in our area, the facility is large and open, and it is a fun place to spend the day. I would look forward to giveaways and other information on this amazing program on this and other blogs. I know I will be giving away a $40 kit to some lucky winner via their facebook page within then next month or so, and I can score you free classes, tours and other activities if you let me know what you are interested in. There are two locations in Las Vegas, one off of Ann Rd. and the other in Green Valley.

My husband is their teacher and he is awesome. He love to build and teach, and we are forcing them to be organized and well -equipped. So follow their facebook page, take a class, attend a build night, or just drop by and see what we doo. It’s a lot of fun.

If you are a Las Vegas blogger, I am going to do a major giveaway with them, but need to tailer it to the the Las Vegas area. Please let me know if you are interested. It will be a free blogger opportunity. Also, if you know of ways to network their site, or get their name out there for others I would love the contact information.

I am a wife, mother and blogger. I love to share what I learn and am constantly learning. My family lives with an Aspergers child, chronic illness and constant financial issues. I blog about this and ways to make life fun and fulfilling in spite of it all. I also blog with Sublime Media Connections, Kate and Kaboodle and several other amazing blog teams. I love what I do, but I am human and often make mistakes, which is why my motto is "muddling through".

  1. What a great program. I’m always amazed at all the new stuff that is around. Thanks for doing the leg work.

    1. My son adores it and goes to every camp he’s allowed. He also thinks that all Legos are his entitled right now, which is a little distressing, but I’m glad he loves it. He spent hours building with his legos at home this week, and there wasn’t camp due to the 4th of July. It really is fun, and getting better with my husband at the helm writing curriculum for them.

  2. This sounds so cool. I loved building with legos as a child and would have LOVED this program.

  3. Wished i lived in Vegas for the giveaway. I loved legos as a kid and still love playing with them with children. I think it helps develop a lot of skills not just mechanical but math as well

  4. What a great program. My kids always loved duplos and legos, now my grandson does. We live near LegoLand and we take our kindergarten groups there for a class where they teach the kids about building… very fun.

  5. Very cool program! I’m guessing it’s only in the Las Vegas area? My supervisor at work just went to a conference in Las Vegas last week. We was telling me all about the crazy city and I thought “I wonder what it’s like to live there?” I would love to hear some stories about what it’s like to live in Las Vegas!

  6. sounds like a great program! i never knew about it til now. i dont think they have anything like that in Canada, i think im going to have to look into it. thanks for the info!
