I got the beautiful Starlooks box in the mail earlier this month, but due to family drama forgot about it completely. This collection was a set of personalized, neutral eye colors that will look great for all my upcoming holiday events. There is also a fun tool to help prevent smearing of eye make-up and mascara that I have yet to master, but love the concept. I am terrible at putting mascara on. The final addition is a lovely gloss lipstick. I am not a lipstick person. I can never find the right shade, but Starlooks has consistently sent me shades that I love and will wear out. I have a birthday coming up, and we go on a date to a movie and dinner. These items will definitely be on my list to wear.

Reviewing Starlooks has been one of the most exciting and fun blogging projects I have taken on so far. I love the new looks, the fun “gifts” in the mail, and not having to go to my local store to pick out make-up. I also enjoy trying the new items and the boost that a new lipstick will give to my self-confidence. My good friend has a lipstick color and set of heels that she uses whenever she faces a difficult meeting or a nerve-wracking situation. I think I might take on her philosophy.
