Krill Oil is made by Everest Nutrition. I must admit I was a little put off by the color, even though I know that is the color of Krill. It looks a little creepy, but the capsules make them tasteless and easy to swallow, and they are an amazing source of Omega 3’s. They also contain DHA, EPA and Astrazanthin. These ingredients are amazing for brain and heart health, and are also great antioxidants. I have tried multiple forms of Essential Fatty Acids – Omega 3’s, and this has to be the most adventurous and the highest quality that I have yet to find.
Krill oil are made from the small animals called Krill that whales eat. Everest Nutrition sources their Krill Oil from the seas around Antarctica, and through a patented process extracts the oils and processes them for human use. It is more “bioavailable” than fish oil and contains “48x more antioxidants”. I study nutrition and am a health coach. Most health coaches will recommend some kind of Omega 3 supplement for all of their clients, and this one has the added benefit of powerful antioxidants which help reverse aging and prevent damage to DNA which causes cancer, and signs of aging. You really can’t put a price tag on that type of result, and it is essential that we supplement our diet, as we do not get enough from the foods we eat, and as Americans we suffer from many preventable diseases. Even my son, who is 8, takes a children’s form of Omega 3’s to help his developing brain.

I’ve heard so much good things about Krill oil though I’ve never tried it. I love that Everest Nutrition’s capsules make them tasteless and easy to swallow
