Ant-Man – One Small Step for Marvel

Disclosure: We received two tickets to the Disney/Marvel Premier of Ant-Man in exchange for our honest review. As always, opinions expressed on this blog are my own, or that of my husband and kid. My wife brought me because I am a huge nerd that has read comics for a long time. I know what is going on and I get a lot of the references that she may miss. My wife is a good female presence and a bit of a nerd herself. Now we have a 10-year-old that has alternated attending with me or my wife to some of the movies and helped to review them. He is autistic, gifted, ADHD, and all sorts of a nerd himself. He tells us where the scary parts are and what parts are funny to a 10-year-old boy, which are weird spots. Avengers: Age of Ultron – A Must See!

Avengers!

I had the rare and amazing opportunity to see Avengers on its’ preview night, in IMAX 3D. It was amazing, and I talked about it so much, I made my family irritated. Then they went, and now they can’t stop talking about it. We loved Hawkeye, and the Black Widow. I loved that their abilities were amazing, yet they were the “normal” people in the group. I loved Hawkeye’s equipment, and if could find such a bow and arrow set, I would learn how to shoot arrows. I would love to give such a set to my son. He would love it. The jokes and silliness were not missed by my 7-year-old, and he enjoyed Hulk’s occasional pushy behavior when he would strike out against other Avengers.
